The Third All-Russian Congress of Dermatovenereology was held on November 27-30 2009, in Kazan. The scientific programme of the Congress included a plenary session and 16 section meetings, among which 7 were dermatological, 6 dealt with topics in sexually transmitted diseases, 2 - healthcare management and 1 - with issues of aesthetic medicine. Six industry-sponsored satellite symposia, 2 round table meetings and 4 educational workshops were conducted together with assembly meetings of Russian Society of Dermatovenerologists and Society of psoriasis patients.

The industrial exhibition was open during the congress, representing all major Russian and international manufacturers of pharmaceutical and skincare products and diagnostic equipment.
