Regional conference of Russian IUSTI guild of STI specialists was succesfully conducted in Kazan, Russia, on April 28 and 29, 2011. Attendees gathered from Tatarstan and several cities of Volga region, Taganrog, Orenburg, Ufa, Izhevsk and Kirov.
Interregional conference "Current Topics in Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology" took place in Vologograd, Russia, on April 15, 2011. Conference key topics included mucocutaneous infections and chronic inflammatory disorders.
The Fifthteen Siberian interregional conference "Dermatovenereology in Siberia: From Science to Practice" took place in Novosibirsk on March 24-25, 2011. The conference was dedicated to the 85 years since foundation of A.A. Bogolepov Siberian Dermatological Society. Six sessions and symposia were attended by more than 300 clinicians from 17 regions of Russia.
The 4th Russian conference "Urogenital infections and reproductive health: clinical and laboratory diagnosis and treatment" was conducted in two parts: in Moscow on March 17-18 and in St.-Petersburg on March 23-24, 2011. More than 1500 delegates attended 6 plenary and 10 breakout sessions, workshops and symposia. The conference was organized by Russian Association on Genital Infections and Neoplasia with support of postgraduate Medical Academies of Moscow and St.-Petersburg.
The two-day, all-Russian, interdisciplinary videoconference has connected 32 major cities of Russia on March 10 and 11, 2011. A set of lectures on mycoses, acne, rosacea and facial dermatoses, skin infections and local pain incited hours-long discussion with more than 1200 dermatologists, cosmetologists and aestheticians, clinical pharmacologists, neurologists, certified pharmacy workers and industry representatives from all regions of Russia and several CIS countries.
The third interdisciplinary training course "Herpetic infections" was conducted in Moscow on March 2, 2011. The course was organized by M. F. Vladimirsky Moscow Regional Research Clinical Institute, supported by MedForum Group. Two educational workshops updated the audience on problems of diagnosing and treating herpes virus infections in dermatovenereology, gynecology, urology, neurology and ophthalmology.
Videoconference on acne, rosacea, acne-prone skin and facial dermatoses aired in two parts, on February 21 and 22, 2011. The audiences of dermatologists, aestheticians and beaty medicine specialists, pharmacists and media gathered in Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and Ufa, with numerous internet peers from Russia and CIS.
The Second Siberian Congress of obstetricians, gynecologists and dermatovenereologists was conducted in Novosibirsk, Russia, on February 14-15, 2011. During 3 plenary sessions, 32 topics on diagnosis and treament of skin disorders, sexually and vertically transmitted infections and gynecological pathology were presented.
The set of videoconferences on sensitive skin, allergic, contact and irritant dermatitis treatment and prevention was conducted on February 2 and 4, 2011. Dermatological audiences with more than 400 physicians gathered in Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and Ufa. Conference was streamed through service channel of http://telemost.dermatology.ru with numerous Russian and international peers connected.
The twenty-eighth conference "Rachmanov readings" organized by dermatology department of First Moscow State Medical University was held in Moscow, Russia, on January 27-28 2011. The conference included 28 plenary and breakout sessions, with 65 oral presentations total. Among international speakers were J. Herzogova (Czech Republic) and T. Ruzicka (Germany).
